Ken Hankinson designed ‘Tahoe’

There are very few boats crafted like this. Ken Hankinson is a highly regarded USA designer with a portfolio of stunning, classically shaped vessels of the style of Riva and Pagiva. The owner of this boat is a master furniture maker who has used his considerable woodworking skills to craft a vessel of superior finish and style. Meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout, from the fine joinery to the custom fittings made especially for this project. The mahogany was selected from one original baulk and kept in sequence when milled to ensure grain and colour match. There is matched premium ultraleather seating, chromed window fittings, hand cast bronze propeller and rudder, stainless and timber steering wheel, premium gauges and hand turned switch knobs. Custom fittings were carefully considered and manufactured to match the elegance of the style and design. The final paint is multiple coats of premium Awlgrip clear. The engine is a custom Chevrolet 350 cubic inch with Rolco manifolds, Savage stainless steel marinised heat exchanger, Mallory ignition, Holley 4 barrel carburettor matched to a ZF gearbox and shaft drive
