About This Vessel
There are a lot of production boats available in the 34-36 foot range but very few have the build quality, performance and versatility of the Hanse 342. This vessel presents to a very high standard and has been upgraded and enhanced by previous owners to make her an even better yacht than the already desirable 342 factory model.
Hanse 342’s have robust engineering, one of the best keel mounting systems on the market, superior windward performance from the 1.85m keel, superior downwind performance aided by the Selden prodder and North PX assymmetrical spinnaker. Self tacking headsail system for ease of handling or short handed crew.
The interior is crafted in mahogany veneers and has two cabins including the desired aft double, full galley and one of the most spacious bathrooms available in any 35 footer. Ideal for a cruising couple who recognize the benefits of performance in an easily handled cruising boat and equally at home around the buoys for those who like to race. Easily sailed single handed with all sheets and halyards lead back to the cockpit.
The main engine was upgraded to 30hp for improved motoring performance, the electronics have been upgraded to Raymarine Hybrid touch and the original sail wardrobe of full battened cruising main and self-tacking headsail have been complimented by a suite of North Performance PX sails.
This is a lovely boat capable of sailing anywhere in comfort, safety and quickly.
