This includes;
Marina approach chart Marina berths plan Rental rates Berths for sale Todays weather Fuel prices for Diesel, Unleaded and Premium fuels Marine Insurance Archived copies of previous Newsletters Fishing Report - Winter months
Its Winter! That means whales, snapper and bream. The first whale of the season is long past, which coincides with snapper moving into the bay. They have been caught in good numbers around the articial reefs, off Wellington Point and west of Green and Mud Islands. The better fish are being caught at night at these locations and off the ledges in the main channel top end of Moreton Island. There are lots of bream particularly in the channels of the southern bay, plus small chopper tailor at the bar entrances on the flood tide. Winter whiting are all over the place with reports of good catches from the banks opposite the north side of Peel Island (be wary of green zone limitations), at the Big Sandhills off Moreton and for those not wishing to travel so far, in the boat passage at Wynnum. Not much pelagic activity happening until the water warms up, but if you're seeking something larger there are big Jew still being caught at bar entrances and in the mouth of the Brisbane River. Plenty of opportunity to catch a fish, just pack a beanie!.
